Torchbearers is hosting a 12-hour prayer vigil on Monday, January 20, 2025 that will run from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm ET. The prayer vigil theme is “Praying Together, Acting Together: Honoring Dr. King's Legacy Through Justice, Unity, and Hope.” The prayer vigil is a public act of faith to express our deep concern and belief that Dr. King’s dream will be realized. The vigil is being facilitated by a number of local churches and churches across the country.

MLK Day 2025 is a day to come together to commemorate Dr. King’s legacy. We will gather together for collective reflection and prayers for justice and equality. Facing an uncertain future, we pray for peace, resiliency, and solidarity in the Black community. It is a day to remind our community that hope is not lost as we carry the torch that Dr. King passed to us.
